Recent portrait practice

The Dryden Gallery at Providence Picture Frame, in Providence, RI graciously invited the Kate Huntington group to use their gallery two days each week to paint portraits and draw the figure.   The current show hanging is the work of Ed Clark a famous and wonderful photographer that worked for Life Magazine.   I couldn't resist including the photos that are hung directly behind our model stand.  I've always loved Ed Clark's photo of accordion-playing Chief Petty Officer (USN) Graham Jackson with tears streaming down his face  as President Franklin D. Roosevelt's flag-draped funeral train leaves Warm Springs, Ga., April 13, 1945.
